Aug. 8 members visited Sale Library for the \u201cMarvellous Makers Meccano \u201c event, part of the Summer Reading Challenge. Veronica ran the Plastic Meccano Hands-On Workshop. It was very busy &#8211;&nbsp;about 43 models were built including many of the makers own design. His cheerful presence and his numerous stories will be remembered for many years. He built numerous interesting models. Many contained parts, which Binns Road did not get round to making, made in his extensive, well equipped workshop.
