About 17 tables were available for models.

Unfortunately, only a few photographs are available at present, mostly taken by Brian Elvidge. Chris. used a standard drift to make the holes big enough to get bolts though them. The webmaster used his Podger, made by grinding a point on a 50p 5 mm screwdriver. They are usually made from old screwdrivers but Märklin actually sold them. The punch makes it possible to produce several holes an accurate ½” apart. The set comes with suggestions for models using cardboard parts.

Below is one of suggestions for models which do not use them. This one was built to amuse the webmaster’s grandson.

The new plastic plastic parts have depressions in them to take nuts, but only if you use them the right way round. This makes construction a bit tricky.

Skegness.

Neville Bond, Derrick Murdie,Chris.
